iBlog: C'mon Cheer Up!

Link: 10 Things You Can Do To Cheer Yourself Up

Here is a little article I found that shows some ways to get up off of that couch of sad faces and get back into the joy of life. I believe a lot of these things can be achievable and would probably be considered effective. It's never a good thing to enjoy life down in the dumps. I always say to get over it because it doesn't do you any good to mope around feeling sad. You never know what will happen in life if you let it go by!

iBlog: I Want Jesus For 2008

Link: Jesus wants your vote

This is an interesting article about a group doing a movement on how the presidential candidates are not good enough, but someone who is like Christ... or Jesus in the eyes of the people. If Jesus ran for president, how would he do? Would people choose Him? What kinds of views would He push?

I like how the article states it, Jesus for president would be a good ideas, but everyone's Jesus is different.

iBlog: Stay Awake...

Link: Stay Awake at Work or School

I think every student I know has this issue... its tough to keep those eyes wide up when your lecturer is rambling on and on about Information management and the different systems that people use. Can I say BORIINNNGGG!!

Hopefully this article can help a bit, because I know I sure can use a hand. Next time you find yourself dozing off to dreamland, do something about it, or the next thing you know your lab partner will be drawing cartoons on your face [I think that actually happened!].

iBlog: Enjoy Your Own Grass

Link: Getting To Done: Enjoy Your Own Grass

This is a article on Lifehacker. The author goes on to say that life is all about your own experiences and the phrase "the grass is greener on the other side" portrays self-doubt in one's own ability. Good article to read if I ever feel like life itself is falling on me... I will know that it's falling on everyone else too [but really, its not about everyone else].

Ahhh, Another Apple Laptop

Here is a review for the Apple Air from notebook.com

My initial reaction to this hardware is that I was not impressed. I believe the author of the review also shares my same reaction.

Happy New Years 2008!!

It's the new years and the year has ended and a new year is gonna begin. With each year I gain different experiences and have different goals. What better to bring in a new year than with a New Years Resolution for 2008.

After thinking really thoroughly about my goals for this coming year, I have come up with three aspects for my life: Spiritual, Physical, and Personal.

Spiritual: Deliberately witness and save someone to the Lord so that they may be discipled by myself or another, so that I may experience what God has wanted. It's tough to win someone to the Lord. So much prayer goes into witnessing and opportunities come and go, but I want to make it a point to find someone who does not know the salvation of Christ Jesus and let them come to know Him.

Physical: Do a cardial activity consistently (consistently a couple/few times a week) for at least a month. It is also tough to find time to exercise and to keep in shape. I hope to do something that will keep the pounds off, such as running, playing ball, or something that will keep me active.

Personal: (1)Find a new friend that I am able to hang out with outside of school and/or church. (2)Learn to play the drums enough to play along with at least 3 songs.

These are my new year resolution for 2008. It probably will not be easy to do, but I am writing it here in my blog so that I can keep an account of what I NEED to do. Some say New Years resolutions are meant to be broken, but I am making it a resolution to keep my resolution.
